To årigt kursus i kristendom og antroposofi, arrangeret af Kristensamfundet.
på engelsk.
Main Theme: To be under way …
For the content of the courses, we have chosen the sacraments as guiding stars in the development of human biography: Baptism, Confirmation, Act of Consecration of Man, Sacramental Consultation, Last Anointing, Ordination of Priests, Sacrament of Marriage.
Since ancient times, Jesus Christ himself has been understood as the first sacrament. His life, death, and resurrection are the origin and destiny of divine salvation. Thus, the words of the Creed will accompany us on our journey through our studies as the seeds of Christian thought and faith. We will search for religious experiences that can strengthen our lives in this world and in this time.
We were inspired by the words of Dag Hammarskjöld:
You who are over us,
You who are one of us,
You who are – also in us,
may all see you – also in me,
may I prepare the way for you,
may I be grateful for all that then befalls me.
May I at the same time not forget the needs of others,
Keep me in your love
as you would that all should remain in mine.
May everything in my being be directed to your glory and
may I never despair.
For I am under your hand,
and in you is all power and goodness.
Give me a pure heart – that I may see you,
a humble heart – that I may hear you,
a loving heart – that I may serve you,
a believing heart – that I may remain in you.
Study Program & Structure
In a Nordic setting, the Seminary welcomes people from all walks of life – age, education, experience, status or nationality are of little importance.
It is a part-time study, open to people wishing to deepen their understanding of central Christian topics. We also hope that the courses will inspire the students in their own life and in their communities.
The schedule alternates between full weeks (Mon-Fri) and weekends (Fri-Sun). The Seminary will also include artistic courses, like eurythmy, painting and singing.
The Gospels will accompany us all the way, and anthroposophy gives the studies open horizons.
Self-study between courses is essential, the results of which will be presented to the group in verbal, written or artistic form. On Sundays at the Weekend courses, we meet the congregation and students will present parts of their studies.
You may opt for the entire 2-year study program, or you are also very welcome to participate on individual courses.
Some may join the seminary with the intention of studying to become a priest in the Christian Community. The Seminary works in close contact with the Priest Seminary leaders in Hamburg. They are in contact with the students and they decide about invitations for further studies.
